Leaders at Oasis Academy Oldham will be leaving no stone unturned to continue the academy’s progress and address “inconsistencies” following their latest Ofsted Inspection.

The school was closed today (January 30) because of the weather conditions.

Our Year 11 awards presentation evening featured a very special guest who knows a thing or two about inspiring people. 

Oasis Academy Oldham works with Place2Be, the UK's leading children's mental health charity providing in-school support and expert training to help improve the emotional wellbeing of pupils, families, teachers and school staff.  


Students from OAO were at the unveiling of the new Annie Kenney statue in Oldham's town centre after they helped to raise over £400 towards the cost of the memorial. 

Over 2,000 items were collected and donated to the local Food Bank prior to Christmas, following a campaign by our Community Hub called The Big Give.

Oasis Academy Oldham joined hundreds of young people and teachers from across Greater Manchester to honour the sacrifice of previous generations to mark Armistice Day.  

Former Oasis Academy Oldham student and Hollyoaks star, Malique Thompson-Dwyer, returned to the Academy this morning to run a series of workshops to inspire students.
