At Oasis Academy Oldham, we believe that a safe environment of mutual respect and co-operation results in the most effective climate for learning and teaching. The fundamental principle underpinning our behaviour policy is unconditional respect. This, combined with rights, responsibilities and routines will produce good behaviour conducive to good learning.

Inclusion and reward features strongly in these guidelines as it goes to the heart of Oasis Academy Oldham as an organisation. We will strive to achieve a balance between avoiding exclusion for gross disobedience at the same time as acknowledging the fact that poor behaviour can in itself exclude students from learning and feeling safe.
