Welcome to our Year 6 to Year 7 Transition page
We can’t wait to meet you at our forthcoming Transition Events. Please do rest assured that our Transition Team have been busy since school places were awarded, contacting your primary schools and putting together our superb Transition Programme which we are thrilled to say will be in person this year rather than online!
Firstly, please complete the Student Admission Form 2024 as soon as possible by clicking on the link. Student Admission Form 2024 The form should take around 10 minutes to complete and will provide us with the vital information we require to make sure that our records are completely up-to-date prior to your child starting in Year 7 with us in September 2024.

We will be in touch with further important information prior to the day your child will begin their journey with us at Oasis Academy Oldham, which will be on Tuesday 5th September.
Induction Day
The Induction Day for new Year 7 students will take place on Wednesday 4th September.
Please ensure your child arrives at the Main Reception at the front of the Academy between 8.30am in full uniform. They will then leave out of the same Entrance at the front of the Academy at 2.20pm. The students will have a break during the morning and refreshments will be provided.
The link will also take you to the Academy Calendar for 2024-2025, which will provide you with all the important dates you will need for the diary.
In the meantime, please do check back to the site as we will release further information regularly, together with resources to prepare your child for September, and keep them busy over the summer!
Rest assured we will write to you to provide important updates on plans to open in line with government guidelines as soon as we are able to, but in the meantime do visit weekly: Website and Twitter for regular updates.
