My name is Stephanie Sheridan and I work at Oasis Academy Oldham as a Pastoral Leader. This year I have decided to take on the London Marathon and raise money for the Oasis trust. I have worked in Schools for 15 years but for the last 4 years I have been at Oasis, and in my time I have seen first hand the amazing work that trust does for our students, their families and the wider community.
I am truly humbled to work for a wonderful organisation who support those within some of our most deprived areas all across the North West.
The upcoming marathon will be no mean feat for myself. I have completed the Manchester Marathon before but this is my 1st time taking part in The London Marathon. I am excited and nervous all at the same time.
Training hasn’t gone to plan this year but I am going to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy every second.
