Friday 26th November saw some of our year 11 Student Leadership Team organise a belated Children in Need bake sale.
Some delicious cakes were baked by our fantastic SEND students which were popular amongst staff and pupils within the academy.
Other cakes were also baked by some amazing members of staff. Tables were decorated with bunting and balloons to celebrate and promote a fantastic cause.
By the end of break time, all cakes had been sold out with students and staff donating to Children in Need.
Many of our students demonstrated a great deal of generosity by donating more than necessary to buy a cake, as well as others opting to contribute their money for free to support the cause.
Well done to the year 11 Leadership Team students for organising the event, as well as helping to take money and promote it on the day.
Those students are Samia, Zainab and Megan who deserve a special mention due to how efficient the event was run.
A huge thank you also goes out to Miss Whittaker and the SEND students for baking a colossal amount of cakes in preparation for the event. They went down a treat!
