We have been advised by Public Health England of a confirmed case of COVID-19 within our Year 9 group bubble.
In line with their advice, we are now asking some of the students in this year to isolate and teachers will support them to continue their learning at home. This small group must isolate until the end of their indicated period. Their first day back in school is Wednesday 16th December
Thanks to the extensive measures we have in place, including the bubble system, the academy remains safe to open for all other year groups and the remainder of the Year 9 bubble. We are working closely with Public Health England and following their guidance to ensure that the academy is COVID secure for all our students and staff, and will keep parents regularly updated.
