Well Done to Our Year 10 Football Team

Well Done to Our Year 10 Football Team

Oasis 3  Co-Op North Manchester 1  👏👏👏

Oasis Year 10 notched up their 4th win this season with a superb victory over a very strong north Manchester side.

Without a doubt the opposition were much better than us. They were stronger in every area. However there is a very important lesson to be learned from our Year 10's tonight - being that if you keep your discipline and believe in your team mates you can achieve anything.

The group conceded any early goal: it would have been easy to fold. They stuck to the task and replied with a goal from Harvey.

At half time the group spoke about how they believed that if they stuck to their strategy the opposition would get frustrated with themselves.

Some superb saves from Reece kept us in the game. Help from the cross bar twice saved us, but I believe that you make your own luck and when Cole entered the pitch around the hour mark and he scored with his first touch. 2-1 Oasis.!

I believe big games are for big players. This game needed a big player and when Harvey stepped up from 35 yards to crash a bar and in free kick Oasis were 3-1 up and cruising towards the next round.

All this with injuries and key players missing.

Overall such a pleasing result.  Man of the match: Reece

Well done to all the team!
